A night on the bay is worth it

A day trip means almost 7 hours of driving for about 4 hours on the water. Staying one night lets you enjoy sunset, sunrise and the caves before the crowds arrive.

Best time to go

• March–May: mild and dry.
• September–November: clear skies and emerald water.
• July–August can bring storms and cancelled sailings.

What to pack

Sunscreen, a light jacket for the evening and shoes with good grip for Sung Sot Cave.
